Napoli (A) Post Match Thread

We are showing the one greatest quality a team needs - right now we hate to lose. It runs through the whole team, even if individuals aren't performing to their top level, the hatred of possibly losing a game runs through the veins and inspires us to achieve.

Well that was quite special. Began very strangely, players having off nights, feared it might be one of those bewildering performances. But then we started to play and Otamendi got us back into it with a nice header from Ilkay's cross. A Leroy corner, fantastic header down off the bar Stones to get us in front. Just an unbelievable fight back, team performance, our attack became frightening again and there was some amazing defending tonight too. It was completed with KDB composure to find Raheem for a great, clinical finish. But motm for me is Sergio Agüero. Feel privileged to have this guy at our club. Gave us maybe City's and the League's best moment, the League's most efficient and now Manchester City's record goal-scorer. Muchas gracias!

If you are the same FCBarca from ragcafe lets just say you play to your audience and some of your posts about us on there are not as complimentary pmsl.

You dont get to play your two faced game on here im afraid!

Let's just say you're talking nonsense, I tell it like it is - regardless of forum

Sterling can become the best player in the world imo defenders literally shit themselves when he's running at them.

Speechless.

What a performance after going a goal down.

This is what Champions are made of.

CTID.

Ederson was assured and confident in goal, including making one world-class save straight before the winner.
Danilo, after a shaky start, grew into it. We have to remember that he's a backup low on match-fitness thrown into a game in a huge game in one of the most intimidating stadiums in the world.
Otamendi was my MOTM. After 25 minutes we looked out of it and Nico grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and decided that we were not going to be losing tonight. He also defended brilliantly and could do nothing for either goal.
Stones is the most complete CB in England. Enough said.
Fernandinho bossed the game and is in great form, I fully trust him to mark Ozil out of the game on Sunday as per usual.
De Bruyne and Gundogan grew in confidence as the game went on, grabbed an assist each. Neither at their best but it didn't matter.
Sterling and Sané absolutely tortured Napoli's defense. Sterling in particular was world class- the best winger in the league, and Sané isn't far behind.
Aguero- what can I say? Our best striker ever and he wasn't even that good tonight.

One last thought: Bernardo as a false 9 might jut work.
Thought KDB was struggling a bit, but by the end he was bossing the game. I think I would go for Stones as MoM. Again! You could pick a few
