exactly mate, I'm 25 short even though there are seats to be filled and it's only 3 or 4 days away. And I can't buy three more tickets because the carling cup game against brum isn't available for me yet!

Does anyone think that they'll drop the points criteria if seats remain?

Deffo!

good! 15 points short now, just got my ticket for the everton game :D

Mate, I'm sure if you speak to the ticket office or go in person, they'll sell you a ticket based on 55 points. There have been lots of posts on here confirming this.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

how many platinum season cards were sold? coz these get cup schemes included so 90% of them holders will go plus all the others signed up for cup schemes, and it was supposed to be close to a sell out today.

I think you're misinformed, we don't.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

Any news on how ticket sales went today then? Fingers crossed there was a late surge.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

Surely the seat planner is automatic/computer based to stop two people buying the same seat...

... and if so, as mentioned above, there's been hardly any ticket movement today... just some in the South Stand.

Is the seat planner automatically updated from matchday sales?

We're fucked if it is!

It doesn't look like it, I bought a ticket for a friend through the registered friends and family online about twenty minutes after getting in from the game and it took several attempts to get a seat that didn't error when attempting to purchase. I think seat validation is only performed in real time when purchasing the seat, I don't think any real time validation is performed when selecting it, if that makes sense. I think there must be some kind of batch process performed every hour or so between the ticket office and the online seat selector to update seat availability.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

I know i'm sad but i counted the unsold tickets about 10 this morning and about 30 minutes ago, according to the seat planner we sold around 600 tickets in that time excluding whatever was sold in the 3rd tiers whcih are not showing online.

Someone mentioned that tickets in the south stand -family stand were not sold online but just under 150 of those have shifted in that time.

There are just over 2100 tickets in the first and second tier remaining but none of us have a clue how many have shifted upstairs, i think both 3rd tiers hold 11500 or so beyween them but going by previous cup games when they have been open i would be suprised if we have sold anymore than 4000 so i would say we have probably sold just over 35000 tickets including the Napolo allocation...unbelievable.

Over 45000 City fans here today and not many left for Everton but for some reason unknown to me Champions League football means little to a significant proportion of the fans who turn up for league games.
