I know i'm sad but i counted the unsold tickets about 10 this morning and about 30 minutes ago, according to the seat planner we sold around 600 tickets in that time excluding whatever was sold in the 3rd tiers whcih are not showing online.

Someone mentioned that tickets in the south stand -family stand were not sold online but just under 150 of those have shifted in that time.

There are just over 2100 tickets in the first and second tier remaining but none of us have a clue how many have shifted upstairs, i think both 3rd tiers hold 11500 or so beyween them but going by previous cup games when they have been open i would be suprised if we have sold anymore than 4000 so i would say we have probably sold just over 35000 tickets including the Napolo allocation...unbelievable.

Over 45000 City fans here today and not many left for Everton but for some reason unknown to me Champions League football means little to a significant proportion of the fans who turn up for league games.

Either your sums are wrong or our fans are weird. 10K to shift in 4 days not impossible though. What are people waiting for? Bey City cannot believe it but they will have to drop the points on this.

If you are local and have £25 (and have a a couple of games under your belt) why are you not going?

Should have given Napoli fans more tickets (they can't wait and rightly so)

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

This all illustrates how ridiculous the whole system is. I am a member. My card arrived last Saturday and I attended the match against Wigan today giving me 25 points.

I can't buy a ticket for Napoli four days before the match despite there being hundreds (thousands?) of unsold seats.

I can't buy a ticket (yet) for Birmingham in ten days time despite the upper tier being closed and the club likely to be thankful for a half-full stadium.

I can buy six tickets for the Everton fixture (three days after Birmingham) even though this looks a surefire sell-out with only a smattering of seats left two weeks ahead of the match.

What is going on?

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

The queue outside the ticket office at the end of today's game was getting pretty long as I walked past it...

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

i bet the owner will be disgusted if we fail to sell this out after what he has put in for us to have this ,

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

the thing is we really don't have a clue how many we have sold in both third tiers because they have taken them offline in order to sell tickets in tiers 1 and 2 so i am really only guessing at 2-3 thousand in each as that seemed to be the norm for most cup ties when they have been open..10000 is a hell of a lot to shift when it seems we only shifted 600 or so today. Will they be able to sell tickets on the day as well what with EUFA'S many odd regulations?.

Its a joke, I do have my tickets but they are making it harder than trying to get a Derby ticket, 2 years ago you needed 10pts for a derby ticket. I can understand them wanting to stop any away fans getting in the home areas but 70pts whats all that about.
I have to say there were 100s outside the ticket office at 5:10pm tonight after tickets.

Re: 28k (ish) for Napoli?

I am sure if any of you without the 70 points went down to the ticket office with proof of address etc they would sell you one.
