This is going to sound callous and extremely harsh, but I will have little sympathy for anyone who gets into bother out there.

It seriously is a dangerous place for those who haven't already had the pleasure.

This isn't about football, being disloyal to City, it's about being sensible.

Problem is with our fans is at away games, no one sticks together in one place...it's just pockets of Blues in a city/town centre instead of one big group in a certain area.

We should take a leaf out Rangers' book when it comes to staying together at away matches, European or domestic.

So that means you will be smashing Naples into bits when a large screen breaks! Fuck me Liam. It's just about being sensible. If people want aggro they will get it in Naples. People are building this game up as if it is going to be another Gelsenkirchen 06...

How far is Sorrento from Naples?

40 miles ish i think.

It's around 14-15 miles DN-I worked out there in 94....If I was going this is where I would be drinking pre match and making my way there in time for kick off.

We stayed in Rome and took the train to Napoli for the England game - world cup 1990.

No problem with the train or fans - there is a train station close to the ground and we had to walk through a lot of waiting Napoli fans to get to the station. I think they were curious and there was no problem - there was a lot of ugly England fans though.

Before the game there was a lot of hype that the ultras were going to stab a 100 or so people but I think no one got stabbed.

If you get the train back to Rome make sure you don't miss Rome as we did and woke up in Turin or Milan. If you miss those next stop is Switzerland.

A lot of the England fans stayed in Sorrento and said it was great - no problem - unlike Rimini.

Its about an hour by coach from Sorrento to Naples, keep your eyes shut that coast road is scary as fck

lol, tip for the top - don't sit on right hand side of coach on way to hotel......

Sorry to boycott Spikes page, but me and my mate are on Napoli but flying into Rome.

Were getting the train into Naples on the day of the game and coming back into Rome either the next day or after the game. Just wondering if any blues are comin back the next day what hotels people are staying or what trains people are catching after the game.

For those like myself who cannot be bothered to follow links unless I know what the subject matter is, two Bayern Munich fans in their 40s were stabbed by Napoli nutters on motor bikes the evening before the game. They should be thrown out of the competition or at least made to play all home gains in a neutral country. Ireland would do nicely.

could be an idea for anyone going to Naples to bring extra underwear. not only that make sure you have clean underpants and have had a shower before going to the game... just in case you need to go to em. taking your pants down and finding skid marks urgggg.....
