We qualified last year despite about 5 cartoonish results. With the arsenal game at the weekend, I can live with rotating and the consequences of that. Pep will play the strongest 11 lol.

But they are probably arguing the same.
Played early Saturday, 2 days off and then fly to Madrid for their CL match.
We play late Sunday , 3 days off and then Napoli at home , 2 days off and then trip to Arsenal.
There are just too many games for the top teams and will of get worse as these teams progress in cups and CL.

With no pre-season, we really need games to get the legs used to full matches and get the fitness to the required standard.

Donnarumma needs to get used to the team, Khusanov Gvardiol and Foden have barely kicked a ball for months, Reijnders needs to settle into this team, and as a unit they need to get used to playing together.

Only worry is Rodri after the injury he’s had, playing 3 tough games in a week could be too much of a risk for a secondary injury to develop, so maybe rotate him.

But I’d play the same 10 others that started yesterday. Possibly play Savinho instead of BSilva as he’s barely kicked a ball in months either and needs minutes.
