A nice win against Napoli sets us up nicely for the test away to Arsenal.

I am all in for this counter attacking style Pep adopted today. It suits our player profile far better than all out possession. Those days have gone where we can expect to dominate teams, we just don't have that type of player anymore.

I thought we looked a bit like Inter Milan of the last few years today.

I'd be surprised if Pep doesn't make several changes. Can see some from Nunes, Ake, Stones (if fit), Gonzalez, Bobb and Savinho starting that game. At least 3-4 changes from today.

Why the fuck are we playing on a Thursday night ? that gives us 3 days to rest while the tarquins get 5, fucking ridiculous.
We could have a months rest this team doesn’t have the confidence to win down there so don’t play the victim I will be happy if we can beat Napoli and get a point in north london

I think the biggest decision is Trafford or Donnarumma. We all know what the right answer is. But assuming he goes with Donnarumma. We may as well look for a loan for Trafford in January

Donnarumma

Nunes
Dias
Gvardiol
Ake

Rodri
Reijnders

Silva
Foden
Doku

Haaland

Another convincing win..then despite all logic I might start believing we're back in this title race

Might have been the goalkeeper…

Having less possession than United wasn't planned. Pep explained recently that he won't give up on his principles, including possession-based football. What will change is being more direct when there are spaces to attack.

I also think it has something to do with our lack of pressing or poor pressing. Teams play a lot more through and around our press last year or so and have much more time to pass the ball. Don´t know what is the reason ,but i don´ really like, how our press works atm.

If we had Kovacic back , paired with Rodri and Rejinders , the possesion is back. Or try it doing with Nico.

But today midfield trio cant keep the ball.
Or Rodri is just knackerd
