The Uefa are totally screwing domestic football, as are Fifa. Greedy pigs who force domestic clubs to make their players play beyond their limits, just to make money for themselves, not for the fans.
"Thursday Night, you're 'aving a laugh"

Not really

those suggesting that trafford will start are several tadpoles short of a frogspawn.

best keeper in the world keeps a clean sheet on his debut in a derby,
keeps us in the game at crucial times with world class saves.
orders the defence about like nobody's business.
does a sliding knee thing at the rag fans.
is clearly already adored by his team mates,
et cetera

there is less than zero chance he doesn't start in the champions league.
insane to even consider it otherwise
(or wumming)

Please correct me if wrong but I thought Arsenal were playing Athletic Club of Bilbao rather than Atletico Madrid as suggested by an earlier poster. As for rotation, we shouldn't stress too much about next weekend as the Arsenal will probably beat us even if we are at full strength. Let us try and get at least a point vs Napoli and then worry about Arsenal thereafter.

Only just noticed it's a Thursday night game.
This f-uks up our you play Thursday cause your f-cking shite song.
Still looking forward to seeing King Kev again so soon.
Another cleansheet would be nice CTID.

Annoying Arsenal play at 17.45 Tuesday yet we play 20.00 Thursday. Weve literally got 1 day to properly prepare for that game.

Why that hasn't just been moved to a Monday night?
It's an absolute joke, and a massive advantage for them

That's the spirit, why will they probanly beat us?

If we're objective and realistic, we have a better chance of winning against Napoli at home on Thursday in the Champions League than against Arsenal on Sunday at the Emirates. So I prefer to start with the strongest possible team. The team needs a second straight win to confirm the derby result.

Winning against the Italian champions, the best team in Serie A at the moment, will give us the confidence to successfully navigate the trip to London. A bad result will make us doubt ourselves. That's why I'm hoping for this lineup:

.......................Donnarumma...................

Khusanov.....Dias.......Gvardiol....O'Reilly

.......................Nico G......Rodri................

O Bobb................Foden................Doku

...........................Haaland.......................

Arsenal may currently be stronger than us as we transition to a new team but I wouldn’t plan on the basis that they will beat us. Donna can defy them! We need a strong team to beat Napoli, McTominay and all. The question is which players from the derby could play three games in a week. I think the keeper and the back four can do that, so can Haaland. However, Rodri, Foden, Bernie, Doku and Reijnders are more doubtful on that score. Certainly, Gonzalez and Bobb could start vs Napoli. Are Marmoush and Ait Nouri likely to be fit? Is Pep good at jigsaws?
