From the MEN. Photo is on the website of him doing it as well. Same thing Anelka is being investigated by the fa for. Hope it doesn't mean any sort of ban...

Samir Nasri and another man making the controversial 'quenelle' sign at Manchester City's Carrington training complex
Samir Nasri has unwittingly become the latest Premier League star to be caught up in the storm over a supposedly anti-Semitic gesture.

A picture of the City midfielder making the controversial 'quenelle' sign has emerged 24 hours after fellow Frenchman Nicolas Anelka caused outrage when he used the gesture in a goal celebration.

M.E.N. Sport understands Nasri was unaware of any anti-Semitic connotations behind the sign and is thought to be considering clarifying his actions on Twitter.

The gesture was created in 2004 by French comedian Dieudonne M'bala M'bala, a friend of Anelka's who claims it is anti-establishment and not racist.

Anelka, however, faces a five-match ban from FA officials who may see it differently.

The picture of Nasri was taken around six weeks ago at City's Carrington training ground.

It features Nasri and a man thought to be a friend of Dieudonne and was posted on a Facebook page created in support of two French soldiers who were sanctioned for making the sign in front of a Paris synagogue.

At his pre-match press conference City boss Manuel Pellegrini did not comment on the picture as he had not seen it.

It is understood Blues officials have spoken to Nasri but believe the matter is for the player and not the club to comment on if he believes an explanation is needed.

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, a third Frenchman, has also been pictured making the gesture

Anelka did it in front of a ground full of people and with the World's media watching and brought this to prominence.
Right or wrong, the other 2 did it at a training ground

What a load of bollocks. People seem to make up hurtful gestures as they go along.
Pretty soon you can't move a limb anymore without being called an antisemite.

If he gets banned for something that happened on the training ground (where nobody is supposed to have access to) then it would be like banning someone for swearing in their own house. I don't see how he can get a ban for this.

muen are indeed rag loving cunts and any Blue would should think seriously about buying that rag rag or clicking on their links

Surprise surprise, this picture has surfaced now, in the heat of the Anelka scandal.
