Nasri back in full training

Hindsight is 20/20. Nasri was supposed to be out for much longer than this so it was a good decision at that time. However what pisses me off the most is that Pellers omitted Nasri so he could put in Kelechi but in the games he would still put in Bony ahead of Kelechi. Like why would you include him in the first place if you never intended to play him? Might as well keep Nasri in the CL spot.
When Aguerro was down injured on Tuesday night, it was Kelichi who was warming up, not Bony, which makes your post irrelevant

Are we likely to hear anything more concrete on Samir today? Considering he's league games only now he could be the catalyst behind us finishing the season with a run of straight wins, such are the level of his performances since returning.

Not gonna lie, dude's a game changer when in form. Seems that he's extra motivated to finish the season strong. He's perfect for Pep's system.

Samir is integral part of the very essence of City football in last few years. Without him, we're just not the same team and can't play the football that made us enjoy so much recently. We can't keep the ball and as such we can't apply a pressure on opposition defences, we can't enjoy the ball dancing between him, yaya and silva on the edge of the box. We have KDB for brilliant passes and assists (Silva much less recently unfortunately) but it is never a bad thing to add Nasri for that job too.

There is only one reason he was always on the team sheet when fit at both Pellegrini and Mancini era (except the period when some small time City fans killed his confidence after calling him all kind of names for that goal vs Rags) - because he is utter footballing class.

Shame we can't play him against Madrid but tbh I understand decision to not include him in CL squad. Would understand it even more if Nacho was actually getting some minutes in place of useless Bony.

Can pep make him a hard working midfielder that he likes? Because he has everything else! If so we don't have to pay over the odds for pogba as samir can do just as good!

The guy has so much composure on the ball and is a huge reason why we're able to play intricate passes around the opposition box.

The lad is a great footballer, he has everything required to shine under Pep's tenure, but like his fellow teammates, is too often injury prone.
The physio at City need to sort this out, we can't cope with the likes of Sergio, Silva, Kompany and Nasri being out for the most of each and every season.
That is ridiculous.

I'm a big Nasri fan and defended him on here when he wasn't flavour of the month and was getting dog's abuse. A classic case of taking a player for granted and not realising how good someone is until they're no longer there. I'm fascinated to see how Pep uses him.

He's proved in the last three games just how much we have missed him.

The football we played v Chelsea yesterday, proved if we hadn't have had the injuries to so many key players this season, most probably we would have sewn up this league a while back.

He made a gesture to the bench, clenching his hand, which would suggest he felt some tightening in the muscle, at least that's how I interpreted it. I'm hoping his substitution was more precautionary and that he's back by the weekend.
