Nasri [Merged] continued.

I heard that Nasri has told Wenger he would stay at Arsenal only if Cesc does and his prefered move would be to us.

Also the price would be more in the region of 16 million, not the 22 million that is floating around but it will be anounced as undisclosed to stop Arsenal being lynched by their fans.

Off who?

A quote from mancini in tmos guardian..."it is imprtant we get these 2 or 3 players in...in the next 6 to 7 days...we only have 20 players and united have 27..even though he decides to leave..ade..bellers,onouha,bridge...and why sell swp...but he says there good players ,but not good enough for where we are going....and so fair doos....i mean nasri, and whoever this world known midfielder is....

i don't get the hype around Nasri, he's a good player no doubt, but is he really inconsistent. He had 6 months amazing months last season, then completely disapeared off the face of the earth. My choice for a creative player would be Kagawa

Granted he is inconsistent, but that shouldn't be a surprise given his age. As others have said, he seems like a good fit for us.

Don't forget Arsenal use him a lot wide left and that's not his position. He's better used on the right or centrally.

Nasri was genuinely world class for half of last season. In the second half he faded (along with the rest of Arsenal) but so did Tevez, Bale, and Van Der Vaart - it seemed to be a trend among a group of really good players. Mancini's task will be to try and get Nasri to show that form from the first half of the season on a consistent basis. And if he can retain the goalscoring form that he found last season, that will add 10-15 goals a season from a position we've lacked goals from.

Yeah. Personally, I don't think it's enough.

If Nasri (or any other City midfielder) gets 10 - 15 goals this season, we are going to go mighty close to winning the league.
