So, why does 'A' represent a midfielder and 'N' a winger?

And is 'other' representing someone else all together?

And if so, what was the relevance of ajay saying that 'A.N.Other club' were interested in one of our targets, or something like that...

Seems stupid but then again it could just be me being thick...

There does appear to be more light at the end of the tunnel, depending on your viewpoint of the British media, but I fear you may be right.
Why is it that when we signed two defenders and a keeper, the deals were tied up in a matter of hours. However, when we are after attacking players — Sanches, Aguero, Nasri etc — the deals take an age and we seem to be in a perpetual state of 'nearing' or 'closing in'?If I see those two phrases again, I'm going to eat my monitor.

They appear to be the medias top phrases nowadays and basically mean jack shit,we`ve nothing better else to report at the moment.
But the worst one is "Sky Sports understands ..."
Erm, NO you dont !!
For "Sky Sports understands" read "One of our minions has been trawling twitter so that Jim White can shout it out and Brian Swanson can claim it as his own ITK info"

So is it N for Nasri? (lol)

Erm...what does A stand for?

I could understand it if another was spelt snother ;)

I'm lost. Did Billy Shears say this was done on Monday and the press should start reporting it on Tuesday? I may have remembered this wrong!

Or was it that only when to pay the agreed fee was to be decided?

Do you like the taste of windows?

A.Nother indicates something other which is anonymous.

So if the context is "A.Nother player/club." It would mean a player/club whose identity is yet unknown.
