Just seen "Sky Sources: Samir Nasri to complete move to Manchester City within 24 hours." on SSN

It looks like we have agreed a fee with Arsenal but with a few minor details to iron out. The sky sports guy outside said Man City hoped to agree the deal this morning but would definetely be agreed today and Nasri could have a medical today. IMO Nasri will sign for us Friday latest 100%!

IMMINENT

My opinion of course. :)

Manchester City myth-busting Bunk Moorland style.

1. Man City play better as a team when Tevez doesn’t play
Wrong, Manchester City play perfectly well as a team with Tevez playing on the pitch. The evidence of us playing poorly as a team with him in the side is circumstantial and tenuous at best. His failiure to form an instant understanding and formidable partnership with Edin Dzeko is as much Djeko’s fault as it is Tevez’ (not that any player having just joined a new team in a new league should be expected to slot straight in perfectly from day 1).

2. It’s a squad game
Wrong, tell that to Barcelona who used the same 15 players in 96% of all fixtures last year. We’ll play our best 11 – Period. The only rotating that will be done will be as a result of injuries or resting of key players in inconsequential fixtures (of which there will be few this year I suspect). Assuming that a) he stays and b) Mancini believes he has a short-medium term future at the club (6-12 months), Tevez will play.

“The middle (midfield isn't the hole).” – I think you misunderstand me here, let me rephrase... Silva will play centrally in the hole, through the middle where his involvement is maximized and he’ll see most ball. He'll play centrally because this will increase his distribution options with wing-backs on either of his flanks, 2-3 forwards directly ahead of him and midfield runners like Yaya. The hole is defined by the gap that is often found between the midfield and attack.

I would hope that the club want this finalised by the Friday 5pm cut off point for him to be registered in time for Sunday. I doubt there will be anything to panic about yet.
