It's hilarious. After today, Nasri has gone from a player who only finds form for 3 months and good riddance, to being 'desperate' for him to stay.

I'm so desperate that I hope he stays now. I've done 360 turn on this one.

Me too. Dont give a **** about that 25m. I have zero confidence in Wenger to spend it.

Nasri was always one of our best players and yet some people on here seemed to be in denial as soon as he looked on his way out. If he's not world class now, he's going to be, so as I've said before, I hope he doesn't leave. Unfortunately, I reckon he will, especially considering how poorly we're playing.

I really really hope he stays.. We need to keep the few class players we have!

Agreed. We weren't going to spend the money anyway and If Nasri is prepared to put his heart in it like today then I am desperate he stays, even if just for a year.

The facade melts away with the fear of doom for their midfield. This is an incredibly intelligent buy for us on so many angles.

Just got home, went to see Millwall at Southampton today. Snooze-fest!

Have been met with news that the Nasri deal is off, then back on, and now just looked on twitter and some guy is saying there are unconfirmed rumors that Nasri cleared out his locker after the game today.

Is this the current state of play?

I was hesitant towards signing Nasri a few days ago but after todays performances and some old arsenal games he looks really good.

As much as i would hate to see Barry dropped we should be going far in all competitions this year so Mancini will need to pick different teams.

Barry for teams like FC Banana Bread in Russia and Nasri for Sporting blah blah.

Roll on the day he signs tbh!

Don't know if this link has been posted before but still looking positive.

Then who do you want to drop? NDJ? Yaya or Silva?

To be fair....i meant that who wouldn't want Barry dropped? The guy is lucky to still get so many starts.

De Jong, Yaya, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko, BARRY.......Nasri would be a HUGE improvement. He is an avarge player playing in one of the best midfields in the world. Pretty much same with Lescott.
