why will it take until wednesday though mate? monday would be more realistic? im told everything is done,fee,wages etc...but looks like the old agents fees have held it up again!! :-(

i was told of the medical but not given a date that he would sign, i suppose we will find out soon , if not soon enough

I heard earlier on that the club are preparing for a medical Monday, signing Monday / Tuesday. Originally this was scheduled a week back, but the date keeps slipping (which suggests that your contact was bang on from the info passed to them).

Was told a while back that this deal was done, but City got wind of a possibility of signing Sneijder, and put the brakes on the deal.

From what I understand Wenger is holding this up now, as he feels that City stalled, and now it has left Arsenal with little time to find a replacement, and that he would rather have a season with him and lose him for nothing, than a season without him, and be light in Midfield.

City have been speaking at board level over the past 2 weeks (which is why the transfer keeps slipping back), and they are ready to accept the bid and go over Wengers head......

I'm working off 2nd hand info here from a club physio, who I spent some time with at another (much smaller) Greater Manchester based club.
