For those that are arguing whether Nasri can play CL if Arsenal get knocked out by Udinese here are the actual rules:-

18.07 As a rule, a player may not play in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA
Champions League and UEFA Europa League, but not UEFA Super Cup) for
more than one club in the course of the same season. Exceptionally,
however, a player who has been fielded in the first, second or third qualifying
round of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League is entitled to
play in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League for another
club as from the group stage, provided that his former club did not qualify for
the group stage of either the UEFA Champions League
or the UEFA Europa
League; moreover, as from the start of the round of 16 (round of 32 for UEFA
Europa League), a player can be registered in accordance with
paragraphs 18.18 to 18.21 below. A substitute player who has not been
fielded is entitled to play for another club competing in the UEFA Champions
League or UEFA Europa League in the course of the same season, provided
that he is registered with the UEFA administration in accordance with the
present regulations.

If I have interpreted these correctly - If Nasri plays and Arsenal fail to qualify for Group Stages he is eligible to play for us, if Nasri play and qualify for group stages he isn't.

Afraid not, Wednesday's match is not in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd qualifying round, it's the play-off round. If Nasri plays he's Cup tied regardless.

@footyagent99 nasri will travel to italy with arsenal tomorrow city predicted to pull out of deal
He's a wum (99 treble year). Either that or am 11 year old agent.

Now I like twitter and defend it on here but if you wish to post the imaginations of a wum or child I shall be forced to befriend Damocles at a blue moon party, get him drunk, get him to log in on his id, access your ip address, find your house and hunt you down.

Cheers

Sam

Nb: if you post good news then that's ok though.

If he doesn't tell his agent(s) to drop the demands he clearly doeasnt want to be here.
There was a similar rumour when Lescott joined. It got sorted cos Lescott wanted join us.

I've stayed quiet on this thread, but I'm doubtful this will happen now, just the way circumstances have conspired against the move e.g. Arsenal losing Fabregas, their poor start to season etc etc.
No bother, we've got a cracking squad already.

If Nasri travels with arsenal to Italy, he quite clearly doesn't want to come to city

I don't think so, as an employee of Arsenal he does as he is told or forfeits his salary. The usual ploy would be for him to pick up a mysterious illness, or injury or Wenger relying on Wilshire instead along with pingpong and Cervinho, they only need a draw to go through they don't have to win the game they just have to avoid getting beat 2-0. :-)

Fuck me, they are in the play off, not 1st 2nd or 3rd round

I now don't know if you are now being funny or just a good excuse to try out sterilisation and thus stop your DNA from polluting the gene pool. Which is it?

agree if he doesn't refuse to play like Modric or tell his agents to cut the demands, means that he doesn't really want to be here, and so he can stay at Arsenal or go wherever he wants.

If true I'm off to kill self.
