Nasri [Merged] continued.

Tomorrow is Nasday. Cook cannot possibly let Nasri get on that flight and jeopardize 40 days worth of work over agent fees.

I will be shocked if that's allowed to happen.

He will be cup tied if they get knocked out because they would go straight into the Europa league group stages. I hate people too

Am I right that if Nasri steps foot on Italian soil, when the plane lands, then he is cup-tied?

No you are wrong - its as soon as he enters Italian airspace
You're both talking shite. It doesn't matter if he's on Italian soil or airspace, Jesus H Christ. If he opts for pasta or lasagne on the inflight meal, then he's deemed as playing against Udinese and therefore cup tied. Keep up!

fucking hell your right - lets hope the inflight service is hotpot

#Nasri still should join #mcfc. #afc agreed £22m deal but at last minute agents demand £3m payment taking total to £25m. Compromise expected

Anyone know which airline Arsenal are using for their flight?

It will go a long way to telling us which in-flight meal they are likely to get.

Listen.

Read carefully.

Fuck off.

Thanks.

Ps, just stop it. Please. I'm asking nicely.

I'm no longer commenting on his availability to participate in the CL on health grounds.

@jamesolley #manici and #platt sat next to press box at old trafford #mancini on the phone thrashing out the final points of #nasri deal perhaps?

Lol. We are sitting top of the league, playing superbly and this Nasri matter seems life or death. By the comments on here you would think we have lost both games. Calm down, because whether we get Nasri or not, we will get someone else who is just as good, and maybe not in this window, but in the next 2 windows.

We thought it was life or death with Tevez and now we have Aguero ;)
I want my money.

For those that are arguing whether Nasri can play CL if Arsenal get knocked out by Udinese here are the actual rules:-

18.07 As a rule, a player may not play in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA
Champions League and UEFA Europa League, but not UEFA Super Cup) for
more than one club in the course of the same season. Exceptionally,
however, a player who has been fielded in the first, second or third qualifying
round of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League is entitled to
play in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League for another
club as from the group stage, provided that his former club did not qualify for
the group stage of either the UEFA Champions League
or the UEFA Europa
League; moreover, as from the start of the round of 16 (round of 32 for UEFA
Europa League), a player can be registered in accordance with
paragraphs 18.18 to 18.21 below. A substitute player who has not been
fielded is entitled to play for another club competing in the UEFA Champions
League or UEFA Europa League in the course of the same season, provided
that he is registered with the UEFA administration in accordance with the
present regulations.

If I have interpreted these correctly - If Nasri plays and Arsenal fail to qualify for Group Stages he is eligible to play for us, if Nasri play and qualify for group stages he isn't.
