Arsenal really don't have the funds for a replacement. With the way Cesc made it sound, the deal was all but done and details were needed to hammered out.
Outgoing:

Whats that? Like £35mil left to replace 2 of the best players they have? Wenger is looking for a cut rate deal somewhere. But with the likes of Modric and Mata going for 30 each he has some issues. They will probably do what the rags and dippers have done. Sit on the cash and splurge what they have plus the wages they dont have to pay and load up next summer. If they don't, they will not qualify this year or next. They don't have the team to compete. The dippers, spuds have better midfield's. I'd reckon that if a team like Bolton tries to disrupt flow like they did with us on Sunday afternoon they'll lose to them too.
This team is going to struggle. I'd rate City, Rags, Chelski, Dippers, Spuds, Stoke on a wet night and Bolton ahead of them.

Fair enough. all Im gonna say is he's coming for the money and paying 180k to someone like Nasri is just madness. I don't think those same questions will apply to nasri but only time will tell. The fact you played him on Saturday even though he is desperate to leave shows what an important player he is for you.
Not only that even though you lost the game by some margin he was by far you best player. Most commentators and even arsenal fans on your own forums were saying without him you would have "parked the bus" and gone into the game looking for a draw.
That's degrading for arsenal fans to be saying that in a home game against a side your looking to finish above.
