No. Nasri was just a convenient situation that presented itself was the gist of it according to Tolmie.

Apparently things were/are going thermal nuclear hot on Sneijder.

We'll see in the coming weeks.

If we were paying cash I'd probably just about rather have Nasri. He's more versartile, much younger and less injury prone. Having said that, it is a close call as Sneijder is a great player and if we can do a swap for Tevez then that would probably swing it for me. We need to look at an acceptable way of getting Tevez out of the club and a swap for a world class player would be ideal especially with Wenger being awkward. So to sum up...I'm not sure.
