Am I the only one that wouldn`t be concerned if the deal fell through? Sure, a good player...but who is dropped to accomodate? Like the squad we have now, and dont see how he would improve it that much.

His goals will soon drain out. But his qualities stay.
He's free next summer, not in January.Juan King said:Unless Arsenal will sell him for about £12m I would wait until Jan & get him then for free. I think he would be a good addition but if we don't get him we still have a decent team.

He brings to the table being a no mark ex footballer who became PFA Chairman, then a pundit and then a marketing manager at Nike. He brings zero experience of doing the job he does now at other big clubs in the past - to me that's like signing a centre forward to play in nets, or like bringing a physio in to be the manager.VOOMER said:This saga has Marwood's fingerprints all over it. Seriously what is it that he brings to the table?
