That's because he wanted a bigger wages to sit on the bench week in week out allegedly

But seriously that it lovely if it is true about him rejecting United

When the deal was at an apparent stall Nasri was holding back to speak to the Reds, obviously he didnt take to what they were saying.

Arry the unemployed wheeler dealer from London, is now revealing all:

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed the amazing snub delivered to Manchester United boss Ferguson by Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.

Discussing United's deal for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie on Radio 5Live, Redknapp says he spoke to Sir Alex and the boss worked hard on the transfer because he didn't want to lose out like he had on Nasri last year.

Redknapp says the Reds chief shook hands on a deal with the Frenchman, only for the then Arsenal star to join Manchester City instead.

Nasri you star!!

Triffic

You can picture it. Nasri meets our suave Bob who gives him an idea of the team's objectives and plans and then Nasri meets gammon chops in his office having to maneuver empty whisky bottles, getting an arm around the shoulder and a purple nose in the side of his face slurring, " Hic. Don't join them bastards, come to us Sami, hic!!" Bet he couldn't get back to City and sign quick enough.

Who cares what droppy face has to say anyway? old news we all know Nasri told them to do one, we dont need jobless telling us his bezzie mate said so.

I really hope this is true about Samir. It would be hilarious if it is.
Heard today he and McCarthy are stealing licence fees by appearing on MOTD.
