Nasri to be offered new contract.

Only 3 years? was hoping he's get a Silva/Vinnie-esque 6 year deal to ward off the Vultures.
 
Great news if true. Remember 3 year extension means he's got 4 years now up until summer 2018.

Yea it's fine, he's on big wages too. Keeps him hungry and I'm glad we didn't just lob him a 5/6 year deal. I don't think we have to worry much about 'warding off the vultures' in Nasri's case. Good to have him tied down though
 
There's nothing on the OS or the official twitter feed. Is it definitely done?

Interesting because don't we generally have a policy of only negotiating new contracts in the summer?

The only source I can find is the Daily Mirror. Say no more.

Nevertheless it would be fantastic news if true.
 
Good news. Arguably the biggest and quickest turnaround in form I've ever seen in a City player. I like the stability of long term contracts for our good players. Can we get silva, yaya and Kun signed up next please?
 
Just had a quick check of his age and was surprised to see he is still only 26, I was thinking he was nearer 28. Still more to come from him, I would say his best is still to come.
 
He's such a joy to watch, defenders hate it cos he has both skill and pace. We can't let him slip away, he's a valued asset.
