I think the whole issue with Nasri and him being overweight has been blown out of proportion.

He looked out of shape at the back end of last season, which is hardly surprising considering he was injured for 3/4s of the season. Then he's had a holiday so it's hardly surprising that he's not match fit or his weight isn't perfect.

I wouldn't be surprised to see if Pep was testing him. I thought from the start that he was our player most suited to a 'Pep side' and his ability has never been in question. Maybe this is Pep's way of finding out if Nasri has the mentality to succeed user him.

I also think that if Nasri does stay, he won't be used as an attacking midfielder. I can easily see him excelling in a deeper role. His stats show that he has the work rate and his ball retention and dribbling is arguably the best in the squad.

We have cried for 3 seasons about seeing players not giving their 100% or not giving a fuck. I am happy to see Pep not allowing that at all with anyone nor giving them a chance to not give their 100% over the full 90.

After seeing that video on Twitter with his "gangsta" mates, it really is dissappointing to hear he's possibly going to be moved on. I thought he would thrive under Pep, but unless something drastically changes, it looks like he's a goner, real shame, big talent, big ego, big gob

I can't help feeling that his biggest motivation in a City shirt was to prove Piers Morgan wrong. Once he did that by winning the title we only saw brief flashes of his ability.

That could be it. It just seemed he lost his motivation from that point forth. He was talking up an MLS move a year or so ago which just compunded that belief.

I don't think it has, if it has been blown out of proportion, we'd of seen him in some of the pre season games.

Just seen that video which he's in ... he's finished at the club. Idiot. Pep hates players who love that celebrity life style.

Do you really think Pep will make up his mind about NAsri based on a few seconds of grainy instagram footage that shows Nasri dancing and hanging out with some of his mates ?! I'd like to believe our new gaffer is a bit more intelligent and open minded than that personally.
Knowing where NAsri came from, it's not in the least surprising that he'd pass in the same circles as people who smoke a bit of weed and are want to posting a few cringily ostentatious vids during their summer hols is it ? Frankly its fucking embarrassing from CityWatch to put the thing up on their feed.

Samir may well be done at City but the decision will be made on a wide number of factors based on his fitness, footballing qualities, attitude as well as hard info the club might have about perceived lifestyle issues and not through the court of the knee-jerk twatterazzi opinion, based literally on images of him having a dance.

All this video shows is Nasri dancing in a nightclub and another shot of him in a car. The rest of the video is interspersed with 'apparent' narcotics on a table, an MTV Cribs type house with half naked people in it, a gold Rolls Royce that looks like it belongs in a Snoop Dog video and NOT ONE of these shots have Nasri anywhere near them!!! You could easily take Nasri out of this video and supplant him with anyone for it to have a similar hyperbole effect. Only an idiot would be fooled into thinking this video had anything to do with Nasri taking drugs!

Like them or loathe them, players like Nasri & Sterling are one of us and as such the last set of people I'd expect to join in with the unfounded vitriol these players are being subjected to are Manchester City fans. Now to add to the crap I've been reading today, there's an Italian football blogger who's now reporting Nasri to 3 Italian clubs and quoting the L'equipe tweet as its source......

Why the fuck our fans paying the slightest attention to this bullshit and also throwing petrol onto the fire is beyond me. Shaking my head in total disbelief.
Absolutely spot on. It's an absolute disgrace that City fans are highlighting this and saying it's symptomatic of his bad attitude. There's no evidence that he's agreed for shots featuring him to be used and even if he has, so what.
