You started a thread not long ago saying that he would be gone and we may well be after him; or have I got it wrong?

Anyway, I would definately take him. Premiership experience and quality all round. A team player as well.

Nasri will not be leaving now that cesc got the greenlight. he will get his pay rise and the chance to play in the middle. Sadly for us this is a big blow as he’s not that good in the middle. Let’s just hope alvarez is as creative as he looks on youtube or we are screwed

Another thing....Wilshere is better in the middle than Nasri. Wenger gave Wilshere the responsibility to control Arsenals play, while he told Nasri you are a winger. Even when the media asked him nasri wants to play in the middle, he said most players want to play in the middle, but we have Cesc, Wilshere and Ramsey who can all play there.......thats because all three are better passers and have better vision than him. Nasri is a great ball carrier, similar to iniesta, he travels with the ball alot and plays short. But he rarely do passes that split open a defence

So the person who pulls the strings for the French national team (a team who look like they are ready to mount a serious challenge to win the Euro’s and WC) is less effective than a player who had his trousers pulled down by the Welsh national team?

I understand why you overrate Ramsey and Wilshere as they are probably the only two decent British players you have produced in 20 years. Wilshere is overrated. He seems to make either short passes that do not open up defences or he loses the ball when he thinks he can simply walk through a defence. As for his shooting…..he’s the equivalent of De Jong.

Has Ramsey actually had a good 90 minutes yet? He has shown nothing yet to suggest he is even Premier League quality. When Michael JHohnson was 18, he looked far better than Ramsey.

I hope Wenger has such an overblown view of Ramsey and Wilshere because it means he will be less inclined to bring in more than one quality midfielder.

Let’s see how Ramsey and Wilshere cope next season. Our midfield will eat them alive, as will that of Spurs, Chelsea and United.

I'll be amazed if the Rags are the only team who have made an offer for Nasri. I wouldn't be surprised if us or Chelski have, or are going to, make an offer.

That is assuming that he agrees to signing the contract. Regardless of a pay rise, he might just come to the conclusion that you're wank and going nowhere. If he doesn't sign a new contract would Arsenal sell him now or let him go for nowt next summer?
