Posts: 1068 I havent posted in weeks, but I remember several posters were so sure you would finish ahead of us and was convinced that not only did you have better squad, but that squad would be the difference. Are you guys ready to concede we are better team this season?

No further questions your honour!!

Pmsl at gooney. Fabragas and nasri are your best 2 midfield players by a country mile it's not even up for debate. Clichy is your best defender. It's hard to put a positive spin on loosing 3 of you best players in on go.

Whilshire and ramsy look skilful and good on the ball but I doubt those hobbits will be adequate replacements for the players are losing.

It's not all bad news though it looks like you are signing Cahill !

Nasri isn't half as good as he is hyped up to be. I hope people realise that.

His 87% pass completion will sit nicely with the way we play these days.
But I think he would slot in perfectly for us providing that Jamie Milner leaves (I hope not but it looks like he wants to) if Jamie stays then there would be no need to sign Nasri

To be honest if you watch a clip of the likes of Nasri he does pretty much the same thing Sanchez does. Holds up play, fancy on the ball and sublime shots from close range and beyond the 18. I think its a better buy to get a player whose proven in the league. You can be skin four players in a slower league like Serie A. But doing it at pace in the Prem is hard to come by.

Our league is by far the toughest to perform at the 1 v 1 level. The tranny has done nothing different at Madrid as far as 1 v 1 skills and he looks like the second coming. I'd love to have both Nasri and Sanchez but if I have to start one in a final vs. the rags I'm going to Nasri. He's proven.

I like Milner and hope he gets a run as a CM , i'd still like to sign Nasri.

You talk a lot of sense for an alky!
