A good ticket office story for once.

Yeah a lot of the stuff has been negative on here.
I'll admit that I was p!ssed off as anyone yesterday aswell but hopefully this might show some people our club genuinely are alright and it was a one time error underestimating demand.

she'll probably get sacked now you've named her?

For helping out a fan in need?

exactly I thought they had all compassion and reasonableness trained out of them?

she must be new?

:-)

Fair play MCFC.

I wonder if they held back a few hundred for this kind of situation.

Cue Natalie being inundated with sob stories...!

did you get any feedback on loyalty card holders potentialy missing out on tickets

Yeah, I have a citycard, should have said that before.
I didn't think to ask when I was on the phone though, was just glad she'd called!
:D

That's a great story. I think she's Bernard Halford's PA. I spoke to her a few years ago after a bit of a farce on the ticketing system soon after we'd moved to CoMS and I couldn't get tickets for the Arsenal game. Out of desperation I wrote to BH to complain and never expected to hear anything more.

She rang me and we had a pleasant chat about the teething problems (I was doing a lot of work on smartcards at the time) then she offered me two free tickets. It pays to be calm and polite instead of ranting and raving.

I also think the club are making much more effort to engage with and please the fans. The £5 ticket price and the way Cook went round the bars in Aalborg all seem to be signs that they are much more conscious that we are more than just customers.

just got 5 tickets for hamburg game but dont start rushing to the phones were all season ticket holders, what i would say if any of my group drop out of going i will offer the ticket on here first..

hope most of you get tickets monday and i carnt see why you wont.

15,000 sold yesterday ( some already season ticket going elsewhere )
26,000 season ticket holders ( estimate )
3,000 hamburg fans

so i reckon there still could be a good few left monday..

nice thread story by the way...
