Nathan Aké

I thought he was a decent signing when we bought him but I've been underwhelmed so far. He may improve and get up to speed or he may be moved on quickly if we get a decent offer it could go either way.

Can definitely see Newcastle getting him now with Howe in charge

Just had the same thought seeing Howe in the stands watching this sorry defence against Brighton.

I could definitely see Ake being interested in the opportunity and we could probably get most of what we paid back for him.

Will one of academy finally get a chance, if Ake is sold?

Callum Doyle or Mbette perhaps as 4th choice CB and backup.

Yes be a great move for him. Play enjoy promotion next season and a couple of seasons stabilising.

Both need to be playing every week, sat in the stands or on the bench isn't going to help. If Ake goes we will get another senior CB.

Do what every club does to us and add 50% onto the realistic price. Newcastle are desperate for some quality players in Jan and few clubs will be willing to let players go, so make them pay for it.
Agree we should be looking for at least what Arsenal paid for Ben white

You're right, maybe instead younger CB what if instead city borrow older CB that still looks solid for a backup and can provide another dressing room leader or mentor in the squad ala Scott Carson?

Bet City would except 30m
Doubt it mate . We paid 40million and you can guarantee he would be leaving a better player after an education under pep and the experiences he’s had at city

we’ve got to be looking at closer to 50 million in my opinion, like a previous poster just said , Ben white went for 50 and they are very similar players
