Both need to be playing every week, sat in the stands or on the bench isn't going to help. If Ake goes we will get another senior CB.Will one of academy finally get a chance, if Ake is sold?
Callum Doyle or Mbette perhaps as 4th choice CB and backup.

Agree we should be looking for at least what Arsenal paid for Ben whiteDo what every club does to us and add 50% onto the realistic price. Newcastle are desperate for some quality players in Jan and few clubs will be willing to let players go, so make them pay for it.

You're right, maybe instead younger CB what if instead city borrow older CB that still looks solid for a backup and can provide another dressing room leader or mentor in the squad ala Scott Carson?

we’ve got to be looking at closer to 50 million in my opinion, like a previous poster just said , Ben white went for 50 and they are very similar players
