Found a pretty decent eval write-up at 442 of City's Ake deal, including this excerpt ...

"In the final few weeks of the season, however, with Bournemouth facing another defensive crisis, Ake was used on the right of the two centre-backs, with Lloyd Kelly to his left. Ake managed admirably, despite him not being used to the passing angles needed to play on that side of the defence. His right foot is weaker, but not to the detriment of him opting to shift everything onto his left in order to play. While Ake will be competing against Aymeric Laporte for his natural role, he’s shown that he’s more than capable of putting in a shift on the right-hand side of defence."

Here are the highlights from one of the RCB games mentioned above for Ake vs Spurs, note how goal-hungry he is in offensive set pieces, always hunting, love that ...

hes been offered a contract that doubles/,triples his wages with a whopping signing on fee, and his bird says its time we got married, knowing the poor lad will be buzzing and she took advantage of him, slapper

Had to laugh at the Mail headline, Lampard doesn't want to match City's fee because he doesn't see him as an upgrade to their leaky defence, lol. Absolutely no quotes suggesting that anywhere, more bs journalism.

Thinking about calling him "Ake" pronounced like Mike
Is that pronounced as in my name or as pronounced 'mickay' as his sister and cousin Leon were called at school? Even Adie's mum used 'mickay'. WTF does she know?
City fans do not likkay Mickay they lickay Mike as in bike as well as Nike the same as bike. WTF do the rest of the world know?

Sorry for the rant. I assume his name is pronounced with two syllables?
