But we would need to free a foreign spot. Ake is pretty much the only HG option available.

A foreign CB means selling Sane.

The thing is Ake in today's market is worth £40m taking into account his age & HG status, Maguire was vastly overpriced probably by £30-35m.

I would say 40m is a pretty extravagant offer. But even up to 50m wouldnt be unfair given how late in the window it is. if we could throw mangala, that would be magic. For both.

Bournemouth paid Chelsea £20m for him in 2017 - so 100% markup is about the going rate.
