Why would we spend 30m+ on a 31 year old?

he said €20-30 so £15-25m. which is much more plausible for a 4th choice, and gives Mbete/Doyle etc another 1-2 years of developement.

Anyone we want is gonna be a stopgap, 2-3 years.
