Nathan Ake

Id be ok selling for good money, but what its worth, unpopular opinion...given a run, hes shown signs that he would be more safe hands in big moments than laporte.. but we obviously wouldnt play ake over stones or laporte on form alone. If thats the case, sell.

Do you think that player who has previously played for Groningen and Schalke 04 (2. Bundesliga level) and City has bought to make some profit is on Man City's level?
It's not a bad shout, given some half decent clubs are after him, most notably Gladbach. We're talking 4th choice CB here, after all.

But seeing how we've loaned him with a buy option (which hasn't been taken up), he doesn't seem to be in the club's plans.

Mbette as signed a new deal this week.
Hopefully this lad can develop to give us cover.
He looks like a star in the making
Miles off, sadly. Nowhere near good enough on the ball.
That extension is all about protecting his eventual sale price We belatedly wised up after we let Toisin go for an utterly laughable £1.25m.
Luke isn’t anywhere near as good as Toisin tbh but we should end up getting much more for him

He’ll have counter claim galore should we do that, take us to the cleaners!
He has been getting his full wage while cooling his heels. City’s hands are tied while he technically remains an unconvicted man of good character
Law of the land. Shipman was still dragging a publicly funded salary for several months until he finally threw a rope up

Defense is not a position academy players can be back ups in, it's just too risky, they need experience first.

Doyle and Harwood Bellis are above Mbete in the pecking order imo.

I'd bring in Harwood Bellis as 4th choice if Ake somehow gets sold, I'd prefer he isn't sold, but that's if.

I don't think we have a target in mind, the club usually takes there time with signings.
