Numerous other posts thinking we we need more in and the squad had weakened ect

Incomings most agree are excellent but a lot of action through the outdoor has some people uneasy.

From all our outgoings (including potential) the only real area we will need to bolster would be Ake. We have upgraded in every required area.

He was injured his first season , he has never been a liability in any way , he played well through pain at the end of the season and helped us win the title

Maybe he was carrying an injury in his early games but he was definitely poor and error prone in a good number of games. To be fair i do seem to remember him bagging a decent goal in his first year too.

The only one we are really going to miss is Gabby imo. He starts every single big game and produces in nearly all of them.
Raheem has faded away the past two seasons and looks like he needs a move I think it's best for player and club that Raheem departs.
As for Ake seems a genuine nice guy, Had good games with us last season at left back and centre back but we have to be honest with ourselves he wouldn't have got anywhere near the game time he got only for Dias, Stones and Walker were long term absentees. He's our 4th choice centre back and even sometimes 5th choice centre back behind a 37yr old Fernandinho.

well on the positive side - read a trivia - the last few UCL winners all have had a Croatian player in their team

if we get him , that's next season UCL in the bag ! :-)

his contract is until 2026(!) .. Leipzig would ask for more than we're selling Ake for, I imagine.
