If you can't manage to do any of the above in a year then chances are you're not up to much so a years old school national service is just what they need. A wage, an education, a roof over their head, 3 meals a day and most likely some life changing life experience.
And a million disaffected kids drilled in firearms. Marvellous.
If you look at it through negative eyes maybe. Positive eyes may say those million kids will learn skills, discipline, respect for others, respect for themselves etc. are there no disaffected kids joining up now?
