I admire your optimism but with a Manager with no clue England are on par with the Rags, doesn't matter how much talent the squad have.don’t really care who’s manager - just support England. Got us to semi’s so he absolutely deserves another tournament. We’ve qualified. Let’s see how we do. Be nice if we had a nation that could get behind this young team.

Fair enough, I don't think it's a case of not getting behind the squad itself, the talents there. Just think Southgate has no idea how to utilise them

thats fine. But whatever manager we have, half the country will say ‘he’s clueless’ ... lose a game and it’s hatred amplified to max. Get knocked out tournament at whatever stage and the whole country wants him gone.
being England manager is the ultimate ultimate poison chalice. Only rest-bite is to actually win a tournament- which relies on so many factors, mainly good fortune! not just tactical decisions
I’m no big fan of Southgate , I just know that whoever is boss they get the same treatment. So I can’t be arsed to jump on the bandwagon of hating whoever it is.
