Navas

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, there is little point playing the ball into his feet. From what I've seen he's not a SWP type winger who can beat a man with ease, instead he will be best on the shoulder of the defence running onto through balls and getting in behind

I think we need to play him in a run of 4-5 games now, he adds something that our team is crying out for, PACE!

He tore Newcastle a new one at the start of the season, let him do it again tomorrow ready for Sat!

He did pretty well at Stamford Bridge , put a fair bit of effort in after his introduction , as did most others ...... probably didn't get the ball into the box much , but he still worked his socks off.

Anyone think his homesickness illness could be a problem with his form?
I think not having a run of games in the team and trying to adapt to new tactics and team mates is the problem.

Agreed. Though a lot of people din't like him against Chelsea, I thought he was decent. I remember him tracking back and tackling and winning the ball. Was always up there in attack as well (though he din't make the right decision once or twice I think).

I feel if we start Silva we should have Navas. Don't really prefer Nasri and Silva.

A bit bemused tbh as I seem to be in a clear minority, or one of the only folk, who thinks he's started fairly well with us. Superb in the derby, very good against Newcastle...nothing less than decent every other game.

Still a lot to come from him, but early signs are positive imo.

We hold the ball much better when Nasri is playing.

True, but I feel sometimes Nasri takes a touch too many. I felt he and Yaya overplayed the ball too much on the right side right outside their penalty area a lot against Chelsea, specially in the first half.
