He swung the game in our favour and was a little surprised that he didn't start.

my favorite navas moment of the game was actually the look of total bewilderment on his face after he was totally manhandled and thrown to the ground right at 3 minutes, camera captured his face perfectly.

was like a "... that ... wasn't a foul...? all right...."

hahah totally agree. loved that

Changed the game, he's starting to find his feet, crossing is much improved and he's creating chances like we wanted him to. His pace on the counter is electrifying.

He was fantastic.

Finally somebody that can competently cross the ball.

Sensational player who has taken a little time to find his feet in the Prem. I note that Pellers said that they had been working on methods to gain him some space down the right hand side. They needed to make sure that Zab didn't crowd him out.

I can now see how he is so effective for the Spanish team, and a crucial member of that squad. I get the feeling he is going to get better and better every game he plays.

Thought that for the first time this season we gave him a chance to shine.

We either gave him the ball in plenty of space allowing him to run or we played him in behind.

For too many games he has been given the ball with defenders right on his toes

Navas should have started with Milner in that useless piece of shit Garcia's place.

1 million% this. The same thing should have happened at Sunderland away. It actually did happen at ht and we far better in the second half at the stadium of light.

I saw Navas beat a guy straight up (vs. simply out-run him) for the first time yesterday against Plzen. I think we haven't seen the half of what he can do yet. Just starting to feel a part of the set-up. He was very highly rated in la Liga. I think we have a keeper and potential game-changer in Jesus.

Jeez, he's fast. Had my gaze on the middle of the pitch last night, and there was suddenly a blur of blue down the right hand side. No surprise at to who it was.
