I think he's a bit temperamental, good one game and a bit anonymous the next, and even temperamental within games themselves, which is why i think he's finding himself on the bench quite a bit. His crossing is very odd, regularly seems to over hit it, but his finishing seems to be improving.

All in all, settling well on and off the pitch. Bringing him in with Negredo must ease off the homesickness, they appear very close and genuine friends on the Advent Calendar skits.
 
He's added a significant new dimension to our play which is all I think we ever really asked for.

Remember he only cost us 15 million pounds - at the moment, I think he's certainly living up to that value, if not a bit more. If you spend 25-30 million then it's a different story, but you then inevitably have to play him a lot more.

Kudos to the Spaniards, 4 of the 5 signings have been pretty much spot on. Obviously we're still waiting for Jovetic, but having watched him before and the Spaniards' track record of signings I'm very confident he'll be a great addition once he's over the injury woes.
