It's becoming as if they are only playing for their own personal glory.
Stop it City now.

Marketting. There is no way this is a player thing.

Marketing what mate ?

Tevez home village, something about Eid on Nasris shirt. IMO totally unprofessional by the players and club.

If youre gonna get a yellow card then make it worth while.
what a fuck are you on? "Eid Mubarak" is like "Merry Christmas" how that unprofessional?

have a word with your self sir

Agreed.

Nasri's message was actually really meaningful for a lot of people all over the world. Eid Mubarak was a message to any muslims who are today celebrating the end of their fasting period. It made a lot of people happy, and was by no means about himself.

Also, he rarely gets yellow cards, so he will be fine as far as any suspensions go.

FFS can we stop this stupid shirtlifting stuff. Needless bookings. Could cost us over the season.

Don't be daft. The "needless bookings" are the ones that break up play and stop the counter attacks.

I can no longer delete this post so can everyone ignore it as I have suddenly realised how stupid I look for not reading the OP.
Posting in a potential classic thread.

Because he got booked for it !!!!!!!! Not difficult to understand.

What you on !

I thought removing the shirt completely warranted the yellow card, like how Balotelli did at the Euros..
When did just lifting the shirt become a yellow card offence? Cos, I have seen a number of instances when such actions were ignored by the referee..

Anyway, I think Mancini will put a stop to this hereafter, though I don't see anything wrong with such displays, as long as it is not some sort of ambush marketing...

He can say happy muslim christmas in his post match interview.

Are you really saying that it is acceptable, as the rules stand, to be lifting their shirts with messages and getting bookings. We are playing football ffs its not moonpig.com.
