wait. tevez didn't lift his shirt over his head right? so why was he booked?

When did just lifting the shirt become a yellow card offence? Cos, I have seen a number of instances when such actions were ignored by the referee..
Anyway, I think Mancini will put a stop to this hereafter, though I don't see anything wrong with such displays, as long as it is not some sort of ambush marketing...
Adam-mcfc said:Tevez wasn't booked just Nasri. You can lift up your shirt to show a message like tevez did today and in the community shield but can't take it off ala Nasri/Aguero at QPR/Why always me etc.
If theyre going to show a message then they need to keep the shirt on to avoid the booking. If they do I have no problems with it unless of course it's offensive or something.
He wasn't booked according to BBC and ESPN80s Shorts said:Adam-mcfc said:Tevez wasn't booked just Nasri. You can lift up your shirt to show a message like tevez did today and in the community shield but can't take it off ala Nasri/Aguero at QPR/Why always me etc.

Also, he rarely gets yellow cards, so he will be fine as far as any suspensions go.
He can say happy muslim christmas in his post match interview.
Are you really saying that it is acceptable, as the rules stand, to be lifting their shirts with messages and getting bookings. We are playing football ffs its not moonpig.com.
