This is my list and the realistic players we should pursue. We are very close and I believe these players could be a great addition.

LB - Bridge is ok but I think we could do better.
Targets: Cissoko - Porto, Ilunga - West Ham
Both have great speed and get forward well but are also solid defenders.

CB - Kompany and Onuoha
Targets: Lescott - Everton, Hangeland - Fulham, Onyewu - Standard Liege, Jelle van Damme - Anderlecht, Naldo - Werder Bremen, Bruno Alves- Porto
All tall and strong with experience and very good in the air. We need height on the back line.
Naldo can also hit a free kick.

CM - Box to box type to let de Jong hang back and have Ireland in front of him.
Targets: Stephen Defour - Standard Liege, Axel Witsel - Standard Liege, Denilson - Arsenal, Michael Bradley - Borussia Monchengladbach, Gareth Barry - Aston Villa
All young with loads of potential besides Gareth Barry. Michael Johnson might even be the answer here.

LW - Petrov is great but his health poses great questions.
Targets: Ashley Young - Aston Villa, Mancini - Inter
Need another winger who can start and have Petrov as a very capable backup on the bench. Obviously Ribery would be great but hard to get.

ST - Bojinov, Sturridge and Caicedo are not ready yet to be target strikers. Need someone who is willing to do the dirty work and is tall and good in the air. Bellamy fast but too small.
Targets: Henry - Barca, RSC - Blackburn, Edin Dzeko - Wfl Wolfsburg, Peter Crouch - Portsmouth, Ricardo Fuller - Stoke City
All tall and strong and can play balls off to Robinho, Elano, Ireland, SWP and Petrov and whoever else we sign.

Ready for the window to actually open so we can see what really happens. This is a small wish list and some are thrid and fourth options.

WHAT IS REALISTIC??????

sorry to be like this as you've spent a lot of time on the post ....but we've not got a clue what deal are being worked, how much the owners are willing to throw at clubs and players

If we land a BIG BIG name realistic goes up several levels

and finally Ricardo Fuller WTF

I told you, some are third and fourth options, being Ricardo Fuller. I am ready for the flack I will hear from this but I for some reason really like his game. I like to factor in how much better a player would be as well with better players around him. Let's be honest, Stoke? I just want one big striker and he doesn't even have to start. Not saying he is great but I wouldn't hate him on the team. I guess I should say these would be my targets, they are not necessarily Man City's targets. I also feel bad b/c I left Jo out. I still think he has loads of potential but is not ready yet, however I think he can be great. I am now hearing also Anelka for Sturridge.

Barça and Real are in the race, Real has offered 38 million euro.
But Ribéry said he' ll only leave Bayern with Van Buyten.
Yesterday, a catalunian sport paper writed Vanbuyten would follow Ribéry to Barça.

So when we want Ribéry we need to convince Big Dan first. Its a two in one package and we can use them both: Big Dan CB, Ribéry LW.

Crouch has 11 goals for a crap team and Fuller has 8 goals for an even crapier team. I didn't say they are my first option. There are people I would want before them obviously.

sorry but cissoko and ilunga are both very inexperienced when we are looking at players in the summer we need experience and leaders bridge is alot better than these 2 only agree with 2 players on your wish list off 3-4 options zhirkov and rsc would be 2 excellent signings

sorry mate uve got that wrong, cissoko is a much better left back than bridge, certainly better at defending, maybe a tad behind attacking wise but we need a left back who can defend solid and that man could be cissoko.
