are u actually being serious?
give the guy a break I honestly agree with him those players are not his first choice but I know he knows what hes talkin about we need a player like them yacubu is a better idea but look at everton and villa, we're not going to get to the top level straight away we've first got to get in the top six and those players are capable of doin that they'll work hard , love the club and get us to that level.

This is my list and the realistic players we should pursue. We are very close and I believe these players could be a great addition.

LB - Bridge is ok but I think we could do better.
Targets: Cissoko - Porto, Ilunga - West Ham
Both have great speed and get forward well but are also solid defenders.

sorry but cissoko and ilunga are both very inexperienced when we are looking at players in the summer we need experience and leaders bridge is alot better than these 2 only agree with 2 players on your wish list off 3-4 options zhirkov and rsc would be 2 excellent signings

sorry mate uve got that wrong, cissoko is a much better left back than bridge, certainly better at defending, maybe a tad behind attacking wise but we need a left back who can defend solid and that man could be cissoko.

how many times have you seen cissoko play? am i right in saying this is his first season for porto sure i heard a someone say he was only 18 not saying he won,t end up to be a world class left back but for where we are now we need experience and someone who knows the premier league its hard a league for a young kid who has not played there before

yes its his first season for porto this year and ive seen him 4 or 5 times this season, defensivly in every game he has been class, 100% better defender than bridge, maybe not quite as good going forward but still decent. and by the way mate hes 21 not 18.

Fuller no thanks, we can do better: for example Zigic (santander)

Considerin the likes of fulham and newcastle were looking at him i dont think so we really can aim higher than him. Plus for all his hieght he'd provide the few times i've seen him he seems a soft touch that doesnt like bein roughed up and gets a bit shirty when up against a def who will match him for physical presence

DieuMerci Mbokani from Standard de Liége is also a much beter striker or El hamdaoui (az) wich is an other type

i agree!

Trust me guys, I would love to make a list with Kaka, Ribery, Pato, etc., but building is a long process. If we were in the top 4 it would be easier yes, but it is a process that takes time. We are on the right track and I believe Robinho will help lure players here and the way Ireland, de Jong and Kompany have played is also very encouraging. We have the money but it takes time. That is a list that will get us to the next step and get us at least in the top 6, after that we make the next step for the top 4 and so on.

Speaking of Standard Liege, they have at least 4 guys I would love to have. I would love to buy:
Onyewu - huge, great ball winner and plays very hard and not afraid to push people around
Axel Witsel - Young great talent that runs from box to box.
Marcos Cammozato - Rightwing back who brings that brazilian back attacking style - think Cafu
Steven Defour - Reminds me of Steven Gerrard a bit and is the captain of Standard at just 21 years old.
