Just saying, like. :D

There was very little between them in Liga. Compatibility to a league is so important, that's a scout's job and our scout got it spot on. It's a bit like Dani Osvaldo at Southampton, he is a good striker but looks an absolute donkey in English football so far, but would score goals for a top Italian club like Juve.

all ways good to look back on previous comments especially when some disagree about a signing they know nothing about i remember getting into a discussion with one member about how good he will do with us and he told me Negredo would be fourth choice striker by the end of the season lol.

I'm glad we have Negredo, but I do rate Soldado.

He's a square peg bought to fill a round hole, even The Beast would struggle in that Spurs team.
This, Negredo is quality and probably the better of the two, but Spurs just lumped money on any striker who had a decent record and didn't really look into it where as we did our homework.

Have to admit I was very underwhelmed when this signing was first mentioned during the summer. Glad to say I've been proved completely wrong. That turn for his goal was sublime

As was most of the forum, me included. What a signing he's been, and what a partnership with Aguero.

I'm not a watcher of Spanish football so not afraid to admit I had never heard of him. I thought after a couple of games though, his scoring tally for last season looks like it could be easily bettered in his first season for us.

bit of a stupid topic this one really isnt it?
Not really. There were vociferous arguments about who was the better player and I was torn between the two, but I'm so glad the powers that be knew their stuff and went for The Beast.

Aguero has scored more this season than the whole Spurs team have in the Premiership. From what I've seenof Soldado, we dodged a bullet there.

You know, sometimes, people screw up big times when it comes to transfer market.
For example, who ever fought that Javi Garcia was worth £15m , should be shot dead for mankind's sake.

Soldado's heat map ..lol
