Negredo

He'll come good again, just needs that simple tap in that Jovetic had yesterday to get back on track. Without knowing how Jovetic performs with an extended run in the team, Negredo is our 2nd best striker so we could do with him firing. On the other hand Aguero is coming back so it may not actually matter that much.

The pressure on him to come good again is immense, because if he does not, it will not be a career path he wishes for. But whatever the case, it unfair to still call him the beast, as it just adds to the pressure, and he does not seem the type who would enjoy such a nickname anyway. In poor Alvaro's view, it's 'Hey Beast (you have not scored in 11 games), how about a photo?'

The point is, and maybe it's not the best analogy, but if you are a salesman, and you have not met your targets in 11 months/periods, what would your boss think of you? How long more could you keep your job? What would be your next job? An upgrade or a downgrade?
What the fuck are you on about?

He was the beast, he is the beast and he'll always be the beast. He's going through a bad patch, but he's a top player and we all know that and he'll soon be back putting them in. Hopefully in time for the title and the World Cup. He gives his all for the team and that's why the crowd are giving him such support now.

Can't be bothered to read the previous posts to see if it has already been mentioned but he made Jovetic's tap in by beating the central defender.

I think he found out how to open the emergency exit on the sunshine bus..

Getting himself in great positions, just needs a goal to get that confidence up. Wishing he had some of Edins gilt edged chances today, surely he would have popped one of those in.

I'm confused... which 'gilt edged' chances did Dzeko have that were more 'gilt edged' than those Alf spewed?

When he stretched for Navas' cross and just missed only to see Jovetic able to tap in to the empty net, there was a brief moment of frustration and acknowledgement of his current luck in his immediate reaction.

Hopefully he doesn't get in his own head too much and over complicate the chances he'll get.

Pellegrini got it disastrously wrong by not substituting him off v West Ham in the league cup seeing as we were already 8 or 9 nil up on aggregate, that was bad management for me, should of rested him as he was on fire at the time.

But if he had subbed him off, he might have been hit by a bus on his way to Tesco's.

You can't pick and choose the bits of history you would like and assume everything else would be the same.

Could have eaten some dodgy chicken as well.

Make all the excuses you want, but that butterfly got it disastrously wrong by flapping its wings.
