Im just stating the huge difference bewtween the tow chances.......negrado worked and battled sidwell for the ball for his.......dzekos was acorss straight to his feet......

both should have been goals but dzekos was down to lack of application so comparing the two (as someone just did which is waht prompted my initiaal post ) isnt correct

the difference was with his miss today he made the oppoetunity himself by hard work, battling for the ball and reading the game.....dzekos was put on a plate for him.......

he is certainly well off form but today he looked better than he has done recently in other aspects of his game

The sitaution with the strikers is worrying as dzeko being so inconsistent and negrado being innjured/out of form as well ...bloody good job we have goals in midfield but we cannt always rely on those

Our strikers need to start scoring again soon and fast

Negredo misses a sitter and Dzeko gets the criticism. I love these boards.

Its disgusting tbh 7 goals in our last two games 6 of them from non strikers..

But the service provided by Nasri and Milner from the flanks was disappointing as well.

He was unlucky with the chance at the end.

I somehow think the sudden convenience of the situation got the better of him when he missed the big chance to score.

I don;t think he's been anywhere near 100% fit - as a lone striker I much prefer him to Dzeko if for his workrate if nothing else ...
