How many teams can say they are supported by a whole country like us!!

Lol.
I bet its full of rags!!!

Unfortunately yes, and Liverpool fans. It's mad though, they love their footy up there, and watch pretty much every game. I couldn't believe it when chatting to guys up there how much footy they actually watch. But come Saturday, I swear, the bars will be full with people watching the game!

Now we've got Benny from ABBA in goal might be time to get some decent chants to support him on saturday.

GUNNAR GUNNAR GUNNAR GUNNAR NEILSEN
We all really love him and he's better than Shay!!

He did three things Given hasn't done all season within ten minutes of coming on-caught a cross, came off his line, did a clearance kick that actually stayed in play-I wouldn't have any worries about him for the rest of the season on that basis alone.

Jim the profit reckons he's gunnar be a gooden.

I didn't have the opportunity to go but I think we were all impressed anyway, from the stories you guys have told and just looking at the stats. I mean EB/Streymur weren't REALLY gonna have a chance against a top 10 PL-side but they could really play some football and were definitely up for it. Remember it took two spectacular goals from Petrov and Hammann (must have been his last game for us) to beat them at their ground.

I mean I'm impressed that they even have a league, and a national team....I mean it's not your usual crap side from that last pot either, they got 4 points in the qualification for this world cup, losing just 1-0 to France. The other year they lost 1-2 to Italy before Euro 2008...and these are competative games, not friendlies. For a country which only has enough people to fill a stadium that's REALLY impressive...I mean only half of that population will be male and just a portion of them will be either old enough or young enough to play football....they must all be footballers!

Well, 5000 people on the Faroes are registred football players, one out of ten - clearly the most footballing nation in the world!

Gunnar played for U21 in the previous campaign and they only lost 1-2 away and 0-1 at home to Italy, with decisive goals scored just a few minutes before the end... In the current qualifiers, now without Gunnar, the Faroes U21 have already got 8 points, beating Russia (!) at home and Latvia away with the goals scored by Jóan Símun Edmundsson of Newcastle United!

There is the highlights of the U21 Faroes-Russia game (a decent goalkeeper, too):
