This thread will be like the Thatcher one in some ways - lots of bile. I can see people who were upset at some of the insensitive stuff posted on there trying to get their own back, and trying to wind up the lefties.

Im a big Leftie and i didnt post anything dispectful towards her.
I remember you posting the video Perfect Day. That was incredibly disrespectful Russ.

Looks like his time has finally come

Yep its time for him to meet all of the the innocent people he bombed and killed.

Was no innocent people killed when we bombed Germany in world war II then ?

Mark before you bring up Dresden, that has already been proven as a fraudulently misreported event on the part of the Nazis and Historian David Irwin. Secondly the two situations are hardly analogous, one was an internal struggle the other was a world wide conflict.

Except I am not arguing from a left or right perspective on this one and don't really know enough about Mandela to condemn his use of violence. It may have been preferable for him to have a led a non-violent movement for Independence like Gandhi but the two situations are not really an easy comparison. Secondly peaceful discourse wasn't really allowed neither, and thirdly are the Suffragettes condemned with half as much passion as Mandela?

I just wish Mark would make proper comparisons and not use old chestnuts.

Not breathing on his own now, i think his family will call it a day by tomorrow then this thread will explode like the Isco thread, batten down the hatches Ric
