Net Spend per Trophy

Net spend only became a "thing" because city were so completely dominant the media had to invent something to measure success against that validated (or provided some context for) the failure of rags, dippers, and others .....

I would live off their bitter salty tears if I could...delicious.

The net spend argument from Liverpool is so fucking stupid. You cant act like selling Coutinho for 120+ million is some genius business move as if they haggled Barca up to that number. They probably got a call, held their laughter long enough to accept it.

If a crackhead came to me and offered me £500 for my £20 hoodie, im not a financial genius for accepting it.

Arsenal started it include Arsehole Whinger and the Gooner fans. Those same fans got pissed off with their Board not spending enough.

The data might be interesting but the article is rubbish.

While Manchester City have the biggest net spend of any Premier League side over the last decade, they do have at least have 11 major trophies to show for it and yet if you look at Man Utd's net spend it is bigger than Citys.

Their own data shows Man Utd have the highest net spend in that period.

‘Their own data’ shows that 1.43 billion minus 413.5 million equals 1,016.13 billion. (Over a trillion Euro) :-)

Even if they did have the decimal point in the right place there is still a 0.37 million euro error.
