I don’t think anyone thinks Argentina are a great side. Take out Messi and would they even have got out of the group?

Sure, but it seems like folks here are acting like only Argentine players were in the wrong because of that last pic. Holland players got booked during the penalty shootout for instigating but foks here want to act like that reaction by Argentine players was uncalled for.

Probably not. I'm hoping someone knocks them off their perch because they're going completely unchallenged at the moment. England had a similar run back in Russia. Here's hoping Croatia can pull it off again.

Certainly close - I’ll sway Messi just for longevity and his ridiculous goals/assist record

If Maradonna had played in that Barcelona side that Messi did, his goals/assists record would have been far higher than playing for Napoli, and virtually winning serie A by himself;)
