the game was crying out for some movement up front, which Kane doesn't offer.

Mainoo was superb tonight . Hate giving rags credit but he’s no nonsense , keeps the game ticking , timely interceptions, full of energy and no ego and fully grounded (unlike a certain number 10) he would fit in nice in a pep team .
The adulation Bellingham gets is unreal , done nothing of note tonight and is still lauded yet Foden is judged by a quiet 2nd half in which the team has fell flat and in turn hindering him

I am being less biased with England. Nothing to do with being bitter. Their best game against a Netherlands side without a decent midfield. If it ended up 4-1 like Euro 96 with a better Dutch midfield then fair enough. It still needed an injury time winner.

Credit to Southgate for the Kane sub but that should have been a lot sooner. Didn't get it correct with Luke Shaw and Phil should of stayed and either RIce or Bellingham should have been hooked.
