If they are going to squeeze up the pitch more, knowing that we have nobody to run behind them, waistcoat needs to be brave and take Kane off for Watkins. If we have a forward runner, it then creates the space for Foden again. Or it gets Watkins in behind the backline as they squeeze up. One or the other and they are both good. Kane’s only use from here out is penalties. So we have to decide do we want to try to win on penalties or do we want to try to win earlier.
